Park City, UT – The Easter Bunny plans to rip some turns at Deer Valley Resort on April 12, 2009. Apparently the resort plans to close on the same day but we have no reason to believe the closing is related to the visit. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance for the paparazzi at the Snow Park Lodge from 9 am – 11:00am.
According to Deer Valley, they will re-open daily on June 19th through Labor Day, and then on weekends through September 13 (conditions permitting). The resort offers over 55 miles of lift-served mountain biking and hiking in addition to scenic chairlift rides. The Deer Valley Concert series is also set to kick off shortly after the re-opening. There is no word yet as to whether the Easter Bunny plans on returning this summer.
