Summer Adventure Camp Celebrates another Summer of Fun!

Deer Valley’s Summer Adventure Camp provides summer fun for children two months to 12 years of age. Summer Adventure Camp offers challenging activities focused on engaging camper’s interest while ensuring campers have fun while learning.
The Adventure Camp is based out of the Children’s Center in Deer Valley’s Snow Park Lodge. The state-licensed Children’s Center provides individual “home base” areas for each age group. The center has built-nooks for entertainment and performances, a rock climbing wall, a wide variety of craft projects, puzzles, games, books, and video to complement the numerous outdoor activities. The counselor student ration is one to seven for older children, one to four for toddlers, and one to three for infants. The Children’s Center is a nut free environment.
Summer Adventure Camp – Operating Hours & Rates
Summer Adventure Camp will begin June 7, and runs through August 20, 2010.
(No camp on Monday, July 5, or Friday, July 23, 2010)
Camp Hours: 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Full-day Organized Activities: 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Half-day Organized Activities: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (for Grasshoppers, Ramblers and Trekkers only)
Sunflowers
Children 2 through 11 months
- State-licensed child care for infants
- Play time and quiet time
Seasonal Full-day Rate: $2,426
(Daily, weekly and half-day rates are not available.)
Grasshoppers
Children 1 year old
- Special care taken with your little ones
- Organized activities in a safe environment
Ramblers
Children 2 years old
- Playtime with friends
- Music, movement, arts and crafts
Trekkers
Children ages 3 through 4 years old (Child must be potty trained to participate in off-site activities)
- Meet new friends in a small group setting
- Discover nature and explore the mountain environment
- Creative games, water activities, hiking, arts and crafts
- Gymnastics and swimming

Explorers And Mountaineers

Half-day rates are not available for Explorers and Mountaineers.
Campers need to bring a sack lunch and a water bottle daily. Healthy, nutritious sack lunch available for a nominal fee. Field trip and swimming fees are not included in above prices. Field trip fees range from $15 to $25. Swimming fees are $6.
For safety reasons and to ensure quality programming, the age requirement will be strictly observed. Deer Valley’s Children’s Center is a nut free environment.
Due to the increasing popularity of this program, we often reach camper capacity. Advanced reservations are essential. Please call 435-645-6648 or 888-754-8477 for availability, reservations or additional information. Cancellations/changes must be made by 5 p.m. two days prior to your reservation. Cancellations for Monday or Tuesday must be made on Friday by 5 p.m. as we are closed on Saturday and Sunday; otherwise, a cancellation fee of $25 will be charged.
